Abrasko Art
Karolis Simoliunas working under a pseudonym Abrasko, the artist explores the possibilities of relief art, where the subtleties of nature and visual allusions emerge through layered textures. His primary inspirations are planetary surfaces and geological formations, which he translates into material form using acrylic paints, plaster, fabrics, and paper.
Guided by a fascination with artistic experimentation, he creates a dialogue between abstraction and the organic imagery of natural surfaces. The textures of his works evoke planetary landscapes or the bark of ancient trees, enhanced by a meticulously developed color palette. Some pigments are prepared by the artist himself, using an innovative synthesis of digital and natural techniques.
